The government provides funding to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sports in primary schools. We plan to use our proportion of this money in a variety of ways in order to improve the quality and range of PE and school sport within our school.

We have used part of our sport premium funding to create the Jack Hunt School Sports Partnership. This enables a group of 8 local primary schools and a partner secondary school working in collaboration as a Trust Partnership to have a ‘joined up’ approach to improving the provision for PE and Sport in all of our schools.

At Longthorpe Primary School we are committed to supporting and encouraging children across the whole curriculum and we passionately believe sport can give children the drive, determination and resilience they need to succeed.
